DPBOX 6.1.5 is released, and it compiles on current systems with
no patching required.

  https://github.com/kq6up/dpbox (tag v6.1.5)

  git clone https://github.com/kq6up/dpbox
  cd dpbox/source
make clean && make dep && make all

On NetBSD and other BSDs, copy Makefile.netbsd over Makefile and
use gmake. Verified on 64-bit Linux (Debian 13 / GCC 14 and
Slackware 15), 64-bit NetBSD/aarch64, and 32-bit NetBSD/i386.

Changes since 6.1.2:

 - Several memory-safety fixes found with AddressSanitizer and
glibc FORTIFY: an over-read in the index scan, a one-byte
overflow in the R: header check, underflows in the filename
extension helpers, and a pointer-precedence bug in the
   low-memory buffer path.
 - Fixed an abort in the periodic FBB link check that was
killing the daemon every few hours on some builds.
 - Fixed the FBB message CRC on disk-based sends. The checksum
never covered the message body, so larger bulletins could be
   rejected by the receiving station.
 - 32-bit correctness work. Where long and time_t differ in
width - as on NetBSD - time values were being printed and
passed wrongly. This fixes a crash during incoming
forwarding and a bad "time connected" display.
 - New SF directive: WPROT AUTO | ON | OFF, per neighbour, so a
sysop can override the SID W flag. AUTO is the default and
   keeps the historical behaviour.

Also in pkgsrc-wip as wip/dpbox, now carrying no patches at all.

TFKISS 1.3.2 is likewise ready to build from source:

  https://github.com/kq6up/tfkiss

TNT still needs pkgsrc as a wrapper on Linux. Work continues -
the goal is the whole suite, DPBOX, TFKISS and TNT, installable
from plain source on any modern system. Stay tuned.
