After a "questionable" cutover of the ARDC/AMPRnet portal this past April 3rd,
I and others voiced our concerns of unclear pages and links with "support"
tickets taking weeks (months) to be responded/resolved because os very few
staff to address them. When the squeaky wheel get too loud, they get banned
from posting on all ARDC mailing lists for 60 days (late-June to late-August).
This is the same as being gagged/silenced/severly down-voted by a committee.
Nearly two weeks after the end of the 60 day gag order, they had to be told
that they did not lift the action taken. Even after several back-and-forths
during a Zoom call and on email, after being told that it was already done,
they finally took action and lifted the Groups.io "NP" flag. What has it been
replaced with? Certainly not the full access and allowed to post status that
we all have since the TAPR mailing list over 20 years ago. Now it is a "M"
flag (moderated). So, I am no longer GAGGED but now I am MUFFLED. Difference?
If I type something that they do not like, then it will never see the light of
day. Thank goodness the direct-to-consumer and non-ARDC communications of a
packet bulletin is still available. *** Notice that there are no objectionable
comments or direct attacks on any person in this message. Only provable facts.
I have all correspondence and screenshots to prove what I am saying. ***
