For fixed and mobile use, in the sticks, i set a path
of cq v ariss on simplex 145.825Mhz at about 5w out,
this allows me to digipeat the ISS at least once every
hour with no probs. Another path used is Wide7-7 on
144.800Mhz simplex again with excellent results. Most
get a report on www.aprs.fi/info/call.
Sometimes use the path:cq v 4xtech on 145.850 Up but as
i have no interest in rx when sending on the move.
About 5w is normal and excellent reports.
Fixed or mobile my aerials are simple co-linears.
For those residents in very high saturated packet
locations i notice the general path is cq v
