1° CONVEGNO EUROPEO D-STAR.
The "Gruppo A.R.I. D-STAR Italia" group arranged the first meeting "1ų
Convegno Europeo sul sistema Dstar" handled in first person by Gianluca
IZ3CLG , ARI Repeaters manager, during the Radioamater Activities held
at the Pordenone Ham Fair.
After a brief but meaningful lead in about the current troubles of
radioamateur activity and on the most qualified ARI projects, where,
between them , strikes the qualified "progetto Monte del Giogo relation
presented by the current ARI President Mr. Luigi Belvederi I4AWX, many
other relators alternated on the scene.
Maurizio, IZ3CYW, dealed about the Italian D-Star Net
Jochen, DL1YBL, Germany Darc VU-SHF Manager, talked on history and
development of Digital Communications until D-Star Protocol.
Ivo, DL9MB, D-star Network European Manager , illustrated the European
dstar net.
Mimmo, IW2KDS, had an interesting talk about the D-Star Gateway and
Server configuration, dealing deeply on the G2 release, that, in this
phase, is entering into the substitution of the G1 original operating
system.
Antonio, IW2OAZ, presented the D-prs and D-chat softwares .
At the end of works and before the final relation, , held by Gianluca
IZ3CLG, IK4MZJ, Marco Toni, presented a commentary on the Project
"Progetto Monte del Giogo", about the already reached goals and what
remains to do, in particular explaining the successes obtained during
the TropoScatter QSOs and also in Digital Voice ones, confirming that on
next June 8th, the Official Inauguration will be held of the
troposcatter-path MONTE DEL GIOGO MONTE MAGGIORE.
Re-activation of former military radio link of Monte del Giogo- Monte
Maggiore using the frequencies we obtained for study and civily
emergency activity purposes.
