Thank you Mike. I have been on packet right from  the first months of its
appearance, but there were many active amateur stations on it then. Now we
have one station sending endless repeats of flowers; he must have sent 
more than a 1000 of the same stuff by now and those of us that are left
are getting rather stroppy about it. 7 Plus is old technology. Pictures
can be sent in a few seconds now by email and there seems to be little
point in sending a picture on 7plus which has  so many parts. 
There is more useful material in the CX2's bulletins but many of those are
not really of any help to an amateur.
There should not be any need to look for settings to block such material.
Much quicker to just delete which is what I do.
