I have made a simple test digital thermo sensor
that measures outside temperature and sends it to TNC2 controller every minte. Its call is RA6FHH.
Located in Yessentuki city, Russia. LN14KB.
Bossible to connect from RN6HI and then via UA6HJQ VHF digi.
the WX station has one TNC2 controller (Z80 CPU)
which connected to PIC16F628 microcontroller and digital DB18B20
thermo sensor. I have written\made all the soft\hard wares myself the other days.
PIC gets all data from the sensor, stores it and then sends to TNC2 PMS
as message every 2 hours.
ald PIC gets data from the sensor every minute. So connection to RA6FHH
gives opportunity to see the temperature online, refresh every minute.
The TNC2 connected by the VHF with Yeasu FT-270 mobile radio + 4 el yagi antenna.
