} I am trying to source a packet radio lead for my ft-2500m-

It is much easier making your own lead than modifying one that has been
pre-manufactured - the other end of the lead will still have to be made to
fit your particular TNC.
Full details are given in your user manual for the ft-2500m starting on
page 44.
If you havn't got a copy of the manual , you can get one free of charge
from :-
www.radioamateur.eu/schemi/FT2500M_user.pdf.
If you want to use your ft-2500m at 9K6 then you will also have to carry
out the mods to the ft-2500m , also desribed in the manual.
