Hello to everyone on the YL group.
I was happy to see Peter's monthly report. It's also interesting to read
the recipes but would really like to see more action on the net!
May was cooler than usual - everything is about two weeks behind - except
for the weeds which haven't slowed down a bit. So we keep attacing the
jungle on the dry days. Today we have rain showers and a light breeze
which keeps it cool - 53 F. at noon. But I'm not complaining as I have
been hearing about the tornados in the midwest and the heat on the east
coast.
The pease are up and the scarlet runner beans. I've bought some annuals
for the pots and most of them are planted. And two tomato plants - 6"
high maybe. They need some SUNSHINE! I looked for Water Walls at the
hardward store this morning - all sold out!
We had a good time at the Hamfest in Seaside, Oregon a week ago - alwasy
fun to see old friends and make a few new ones.
Will send this before I get disconnected.
Best wishes to all. 73
