Hi Peter and all.
The garden is beginning to shape up. I have radishes growing in a
container on the back deck and sald green in another. I finally planted
peas a few days ago - my dad always planted his on George Washington's
birthday - Feb. 22 so I'm really late but the ground has been so cold -
and I'm not a cold weather gardener. This morning I planted the Scarlet
Runner beans. The grass took over my strawberry patch - I did save a few
but they don't look very healthy - guess we'll have to buy our
strawberries this year. They are going to be late because of the cold
spring.
Guess I'd better get out and pull some more weeds and plant the carrots.
