Hello Andy, it may be the awkward refitting angle of the enclosure space
around the filter board making it difficult.
I have never had to remove that board, but I have removed the one it plugs
into on the other side,(main board),to cure a possible "dry joint"
problem.
Refitting seemed to go ok with no problems lining up the pins.
Might pay to drop the main board forward, refit filter/PA board back in,
then mate main board back to it.
While you are at it, under the main board you will find some copper
coloured "leaf springs", these earth the main board to the metal chassis.
My "dry joint" problem turned out to be a poor earth conection to chassis
caused by tarnished copper leaf springs!
Might pay to give them a polish!!
