Hi Xrouter OPs,
Many thanks to Paula for a great Packet Radio program (free & donations to
G8PZT accepted).
Today I wiped my HDD clean with format.com on a boot floppy disk.
DR DOS from Caldera was obtained off the Internet at ZL2AQYs' QTH.
It comes as 5 1.44 MB disks & installs easily.
I copied my backups of xrouter back on to the HDD and switched ON.
A little funny business with the Ethernet driver was cured in 30 minutes.
ZL1ABS Xrouter is back on air on 2m & 70cm.
The good news is that spare memory capacity on Xrouter now reads four
times what it used to: 100kB rather than 25kB - a major improvement.
It's true, DR DOS is better than MS DOS for use with Xrouter.
