Hi Bill and all,
Never mind Frank bragging, I brag too considering the power company has to
get out lots of little hammers and chisels for splitting atoms when all it
takes to keep me running are a few beans.
Actually the number one problem or so it appears is some not knowing Win 7
comes in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions. Be that as it may, as long as
there's a way to run Winpack there's no sense quitting packet, there are far
better reasons. I'm not one to packet in (sic) as long as it has a pulse
considering all the crap I went through supporting the mode the best I can,
that would be wasted effort and I waste NOTHING.
Eh, if not for my guru Scott W2SJW I'd be lost, you don't need a ton of money
when you have friends. If the spirit of Amateur Radio isn't altogether dead
you have a friend, bang out an SOS on the tom tom and somebody on the jungle
telegraph should answer. Oh, it may not be work in the physical sense but
setting up a virtual OS is a bit of work (or piece of work, hi) and it takes
more than a few minutes.
Gotta go, this beast updated itself and wants to restart... (^@@*&$@^!!!
