Hi Dom,
Since you experience the same problem with other 16 bit programs it seems
to me the OS has become corrupt. You can try running XP in safe mode,
then run "chkdsc /r" at the command prompt. You might have better luck
booting from the install CD and load in safe mode from there, it's easier
than from the BIOS since that goes by too quickly to read if you don't
already know the hot key. Just an idea worth a try, saving all your data
and reinstalling Windows and all your programs is the court of last
resort.
OOPS! Make that "chkdsk /r" and pardon my fat fingers. (;->)
