Hi Bob and all,

Hairy Crickets to you too OM and I am unanimous in that. (To steal a line
from British TV.) You'll never give up and that's one of your finer
qualities even if it means whipping a dead horse but I see two
possibilities in your last bull. Either you're confused as usual or
software is extremely overpriced down under, granted it's not cheap but I
think you actually are pricing hardware. I sure as heck wouldn't pay
$2000 for software but the new computer came close, good investment
though considering it will serve for years to come.

Gates is retired so don't blame him, so what if Microsoft comes out with
another OS in a few years? That doesn't say anyone has to rush out and
buy it, I for one am not about it as long as what I have works to my
satisfaction and for that matter XP and its relations still do so why
bother? You seem to have overlooked the fact the only reason I moved
forward was because my old machine and OS was giving me headaches big
time. I had the choice of changing out the whole mess or go buggy
altogether and that choice was unaceptable.

Now what do you mean "don't answer that"? You KNOW I can't resist and we
all know you have rocks in your head so why goad me into saying it? You
know what's coming, wait for it...

Wait for it...
