Hi All,
Several have now written (Wrote? Schoolmater Bob can correct as necessary)
that Winpack will not work with Windows 7, while others are saying "No
Problems".
While there are several different versions of Windows 7, the problem comes
from the "64 bit" versions. There were also 64 bit versions of Windos XP
and Vista, but they were not as common.
All 64 bit versions of windows DO NOT support DOS or 16 bit Windows
applications. Unfortunately, Winpack was written to run on Windows 3, and
is a 16 bit application, If you get Windows (any version) 64 bit, Winpack
will not work. IF you get the 32 bit version (no "64" in the name) Winpack
will work, but you can not use n\mor than 3.2 gigabytes of RAM.
