Dear all,
The firewalls and the LAN are working and the passwords, then I can
operate WINPAC 6.8 on a remote computer using Remote Desktop Connection on
two computers. The master computer using WIN-XP-HOME and the host computer
running WIN-XP-PRO and the WINPAC.
I wonder if this is any use to anyone? For instance, you only have only
one copy of WINPAC to concern yourself with. All actions seem to work. You
could have a virtual shack in front of the home fire-place.
The mind boggles to think of a remote computer running Winradio while
having your pipe and slippers on in the lounge armchair.
The joke about armchair copy here OM, takes on a whole new meaning ;-)
I am on a LAN with it's own NAT and firewall. The LAN is part 1G and part
100Meg. With the WiFi I have 802g. There should be some speed/bandwidth
issues, but WINPAC is slow of course and runs fine.
