I don't really see the point in this.
If you are using YappC to upload/d'load a file, it will restart just
before where it left off if the link goes down.
I can understand Roger putting a short default timeout into Winpack
because, when he wrote it we were having the big battle about people
up/downloading large files and messages, especially 7Plus which is why
Roger put the limits in.
NB I never had that sort of problem myself beacuse, when I was allowed an
aerial I stuck with
TPK which was so easily configurable, I set it to 'aggressive' mode which
annoyed some people so I wrote a script file which turnet Xmit OFF during
peak times so, even at 1200 baud, I could leave it doing it's stuff all
day and night.
As I have said before, I only changed to Winpack because it was the only
prog with Telnet.
I only have 7Meg but transfer speeds and timeouts don't matter.
