Hi Trev,

"This is from the ini file you posted...

[BULLETINS]
TO_COLUMN=20
FROM_COLUMN=34
AT_COLUMN=26
TITLE_COLUMN=51
PRUNE_BULLS=FALSE

------------------------

this is taken from my known to work ini file.

[BULLETINS]
TO_COLUMN=26
FROM_COLUMN=41
AT_COLUMN=33
TITLE_COLUMN=62
PRUNE_BULLS=TRUE

The other settings in the FBB section for bulls are set same as mine,
but this 1st set of figures is different, it needs to be set properly or
you will have constant problems..

The settings you have would cause the problems you are seeing..

still you probably wont listen so what the hell..

This my own packet.ini settings

[BULLETINS]
TO_COLUMN=20
FROM_COLUMN=34
AT_COLUMN=26
TITLE_COLUMN=51
PRUNE_BULLS=TRUE
STRIP_R_LINES=TRUE
TIME_OUT=10
PRUNE_SIZE=5000

They are more similar to Bob's settings than yours.....
I am only using telnet to access an Xrouter PC on my home LAN then out on
RF to the ZL1AB BBS. So I'm not doing it exactly like Bob.
As it is rare for the ZL1AB Sysop to send a bulletin, I haven't had the
chance to see if I do get the same problem as Bob gets. I note he says he
only gets it when he does a manual connection F2 & sends "R message no."
rather than use the autoBBS session with the callsign in the selection
list.

Thanks for your info. I will read up on the bulletin coloumn setting
procedure & give it a go here. Maybe it will result in my figures
changing?
I will advise what happens.
