Why doesn't this surprise me - I assume the BBS callsign is the same as the
person/sysop who runs it ? WinPack is seeing their callsign and doing
exactly what it's told.
Now do what you were told and provide your config settings rather than be
all stubborn and tell us you know it all when quite clearly you don't.
I still think this is a PLBKAC issue.
