Hi All,
In order to narrow down the list of possibilites that may be causing the
truncated bulletins, I installed a second copy of Winpack to D drive.
Instead of using telnet for the connection, I use the AGW PE and the
LU7DID udp interface. This allows an ax25 over udp connection to the BBS.
The truncated bulletin problem persists but at least I can rule out the
telnet interface in FBB or Winpack as being responsible.
Two steps forward, one back.
I don't need Julius Sumner Miller to ask the question, "why is it so?"
Now to run the Winpack installation on the laptop and see what happens.
It's always been fine, but so was this installation until some days ago.
