I have done everything I can with the main computer and Winpack until I
have a chance to test manual connection. There are no bulls at present to
try this, and to make a real test I need a bull from Ray VK2TV.

Turning to the laptop Winpack has a problem there too as I said in a
previous bulletin. When I boot up Winpack I get an error message "Can't
find the packet engine AGWPE". I check AGWPE which is on the desktop and I
get a message first "copyright violation" and then clicking on the bottom
tool bar icon I get "AGWPE packet engine is installed and running". IN
the Interface setup I have "TCP 8000" which is the default value and
"enable Winsock tcp/ip application interface" Are these right for Winpack?

Please don't ask for my .ini file. The problem is not there!!

I know nothing about AGWPE. Why this problem on the laptop and not on the
main computer? Any ideas anyone? I seem to have attracted some peculiar
problems at present after a long and peaceful packet usage. Peaceful? Well
technically speaking!! Yes OK Warren. BORK! Here's your frog back. I don't
want him.
Cheers,
 VK6BE.
