UNQUOTE:

Note that everything is there except the text!!

Hey, I just noticed something. When I hit connect the text of the
messages showed up on the screen. Yours was complete and I read it. Then
when I hit the bulls head to check the message list the headers came down
OK. I flagged what I wanted including yours and then hit the post box to
download them and yours came without the text. That seems to confirm that
something in this computer is blocking the text, but what? Should the
complete messages come down on my screen BEFORE I flag them and then hit
the post box to download them? After I have downloaded them the complete
screen version has disappeared.
Does that mean anything?

I have had many messages giving precise details on how to set up Winapck.
I am grateful for the help but I must say I have used Winpack for at least
12 years and have downloaded new versions of it each time they have come
out, BUT I was using a local BBS at that time. The only new situation is
that I am now using TELNET. That is the only situation that has changed
except that I have since gone to Version 6.80. I do know how to set up
the program but have had to get help from Ray VK2TV to set up the details
relating to use of TELNET.
Cheers,
Bob VK6BE.
