<p>I have the same sort of problems with Winppics, It seems to generate so much unnecessary crud at the top of each message I gave up and went to a third party HTML writing program (Arachnaphobia)<sup>1</sup> and just cut and paste the HTML into winpack message generating section.

I don't quite see where you are going with the 7+ and HTML comment. Are you trying to generate a HTML page with an embedded link to a file to be automatically 7 plussed and sent with the HTML page replacing the current info file. Sounds good to me.

Winppics also seems to have difficulties with<b><i> "reply to" </i></b>type operations from Winpack
<p>
Haven't tried CNV2HTML yet but have saved all the templates even though I would prefer to use my own self generated versions. Most of the older templates seem to be to garish and gaudy for my liking.
