Hi Ian G0TEZ and other readers!

I too recently upgraded my OS to Windows XP Pro and picked up the same
warning "unable to find G4IDE7PL.DLL" when attempting to download 7Plus
files. Like you I searched my HD for that file but too no avail. After
reading the replies to your original plea I was able to sort out my
Winpack too. After locating G4IDE7PL.DLL on one of my other HD's and
popping it into Windows\system Dir I was up and decoding!
My problem started when I replaced my original HD. I backed up my Winpack
DIR onto a CD so as to save myself doing a complete new Winpack
installation. After loading Windows XP I copied Winpack from my CD and
cranked it up! Winpack informed me that VBRUN300.DLL was missing! I again
went back to the old HD and found VBRUN300.DLL in the Windows\System Dir!
this process of missing files carried on for half a dozen more attempts!
All the missing files were in Windows\System. Here is a list of the
"missing files"

VBRUN300.DLL
THREED.VBX
IDEAGW.VBX
VBOA300.DLL
MCI.VBX
G4IDE7PL.DLL

The G4IDE7PL.DLL missing file warning only showed it's head a little later
throwing me completely off track.
Just in case I swop HD's again, I have created a separate Dir with these
files.

The moral of the story is to "read" the mail!

Tnx to all that had an input.
