  When  I first got my new PC with Winsloth Vista  Home  Premium  already
  installed  I had many problems trying to  use  Winpack.   I  went  into
  Winpack  properties\compatibility and set it to Win98se and  it  worked
  much  better, not perfect mind you but it was usable.   I  finished  up
  getting a really good used PC with XP Pro on it,  installed Winpack and
  every  one of my problems just disappeared so  now  don't  bother  with
  Vista and Winpack. Just a little thought or two.
