"Has anybody figured out a way to geet winpack to do auto bbs functions
with a tnos bbs? It won't even get my personal mail I have to read it
manually. The sending functions work ok, but it will not download mail or
list the bulletins. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Scott,
You could make a custom Winpack "Script file" to issue a set of commands
that the TNOS BBS understands to perform a read mail function?
Winpack comes with commands to instruct a F6FBB BBS on what to do.
The Options BBS/Personal menu shows all these.
Sorry, I don't know how TNOS differs in the command instruction set, but
if you did know what TNOS expects that it could be as simple as "filling
the blanks" with the right command instructions for TNOS.
Getting the bulletin listing function to work properly is something that
might be discovered in the Winpack help file & document files. Winpack
expects listings with certain items in certain places see Options Bulletin
Columns as a place where customisation might be applied.
The key to automatic functions is to read the Winpack Data on setting the
BBS prompt line so Winpack knows when it is connected and the BBS is ready
to receive a command. This assumes that the BBS.TXT script (invoked from
F2) is properly set so your PC/TNC/sound card etc makes your Winpack
sucessfully connect to your TNOS BBS.
It sounds good that the mail sending function works.
