Hi Barry and all,
Wise man you are, Winders doesn't play well with power interruptions
making it a poor choice for remote applications. Of course that problem
can be mitigated by a UPS but not eliminated. I used to be a remote sysop
for the regional FBB node/BBS the OS being DOS but that's stone age
technology, Ray VK2TV really knows his stuff when it comes to Linux and
LIN FBB so I'm sure you found him extremely helpful.
