Neil ZL1ANM commented on Win7....
}
} 1. No easy and obvious way to transfer files from one location to
}    another.
Just use "drag and drop" as with previous versions of Windows.
Click on the Start Orb
Select Computer
Navigate to the Source folder and move to one half of the screen
Click on the Start Orb again
Select Computer again
Navigate to the Destination folder and position this to the other half of
the screen to the Source folder.
Now just position the mouse pointer over the item you want to move or copy,
press the left mouse key and keep it pressed and now move the mouse pointer
over the destination folder that you want the file to go to.
Release the left mouse button.
The file will now be moved/copied.

} 2. No date shown for when files were installed or last edited (you
} can't even get the date by hovering the cursor over them).
Well they are on mine ! but all is not lost if yours is not displayed,
just right click on the item and select properties.

} 3. No separate itemization in the task bar for each window of an
} application, eg. there is now only one clickable link for the
} program Paltalk. If you happen to have several windows of the
} program open, you must now click twice to open a window instead
} of just clicking that window's link. This may suit those who like
} to run as many applications as they can, but it's a nuisance for
} those of us who limit to just a couple of programs running.
I'm not sure what you are getting at on this one.

} 4. Because I upgraded, there was no email program included and I was
} forced to download Windows Live Mail. No problem with that, but
} there is no easy or obvious way to install an icon for it on the
} desktop where I prefer to access my programs from, so I'm forced
} to click the Start button, then click All Programs, then click
} Windows Live Mail. Three clicks instead of double clicking an
}    icon.
}
No problem, just go to all programs and position the mouse pointer over
"Windows Live Mail" and right click ( instead of left clicking it ) and
then select "Pin to Task Bar".
You will now have your "windows live mail" icon on your task bar, so in
future you just need to click on it from here instead of going through
Start button, all programs etc.

} I'm happy with how Win7 is running, but apart from ReadyBoost there's
} nothing about it that could be described as revolutionary.
}

I suggest that you go through the tutorials to discover all the other
enhancements of Windows 7 Home Premium. _ There are loads of them !!!
