Changes To ACMA Consultation 3.4 -3.5 GHz

Date : 20 / 02 / 2020
Author : ACMA Spectrum Licensing Policy Division

ACMA recently commenced a consultation on proposed changes to amateur access to the 3400-3575 MHz band on 29 January 2020.

Please note that on 20 February 2020, the ACMA updated this consultation to reflect that the proposal to enable use of the
3492.5-3510 MHz band by advanced amateur licensees and overseas equivalents in regional areas does not include the areas of Bendigo,
Ballarat and Toowoomba.

The ACMA has updated its consultation materials available on its website to reflect this change, including providing an additional
Placemark file that shows the updated area, original area, and resulting area relevant to the proposed changes in use of the
3492.5-3510 MHz band.

The closing date of the consultation has also been extended from 02 March 2020 to 20 March 2020.
