Forecast Discussion
Mid and upper level clouds will begin streaming overhead through the day as high pressure starts to crest the region, however fair weather and above average temperatures will prevail. An area of low pressure will lift to our north and clouds will begin to
thicken and lower tonight. The pressure gradient will also become tighter as the low pushes up against the high and winds will become strong overnight. Early tomorrow morning a weak cold front will move through the region but most of the energy will rema
in to our north. The summits will become obscured as the front approaches and there is a chance for rain showers ahead of the front and snow showers with the frontal passage. Winds will still remain strong through tomorrow. The front will push east tomorr
ow and the summits should begin to clear from the clouds as a subsidence inversion works its way down, but confidence is somewhat low as if this will happen or not.
