Forecast Discussion
High pressure will build from the west this morning before cresting around noon and sliding east this afternoon. This will start skies as sunny but as an approaching area of low pressure approaches from the southwest, clouds will increase during the afternoon as a weak warm front moves north. This will bring lowering cloud heights eventually returning fog overnight and bringing about a few snow showers. Friday, the low exits as another weak area of low pressure rides its heels from the southwest. Some dry air may slot in between the two areas of low pressure tomorrow but with ample moisture in place, expect more fog than clearing. The warm front will improve temperatures and as winds decrease from a relaxed gradient, wind chills will improve. Therefore a wind chill advisory currently in place will expire early this afternoon. Wind chills will be 30-40 below this morning rising to 10-20 below this afternoon, overnight into tomorrow, before rising a bit more to 0-10 below.
