None expected.

NOTES.

1. Three of the older NOAA weather satellites which have been
    decommissioned and are tumbling freely are known to sporadically put
out
    a carrier on 137.500 MHz.  The satellites are TIROS-N, NOAA 6 and NOAA
9
    When the relevant footprints overlap this will cause interference to
    NOAA 15 when active on this frequency.
    Latest report below.
    01/05/09 - Report of consistent interference on NOAA 15 signal when
    NOAA 9 footprint overlaps. My thanks to Steven Ross for this report.

2. NOAA 16's APT transmission system failed a few months after launch.

3. Metop-A's A-side LRPT transmitter has failed.  Currently the redundant
   B-side transmitter is off until further notice (No further service
   expected due to interference with HIRS instrument).

4. NOAA 14 was decommissioned on 23rd May 2007.

5. NOAA 12 was decommissioned on 10th August 2007.

6. Signals have been reported from Meteor M N1 but they are
    sporadic with periods off.

NOTES.

1.  NOAA 14 was decommissioned on 23rd June 2007.

2.  NOAA 12 was decommissioned on 10th August 2007.

3. On Friday 19th September 2003 NOAA 16 developed AVHRR synch. problems
    similar  to those on NOAA 14 (and previously NOAA 15).
    Since then reports have been mixed.  Some periods of good data, some
    poor.
   UPDATE:  Scan motor performance has recently improved.

4. On 25 May 2009, Eumetsat extended the coverage of the Advanced High
    Resolution Picture Transmission (AHRPT) system on Eumetsat's Metop-A
    polar-orbiting satellite. The improved service provides additional
    coverage over the Gulf of Mexico and Indian Ocean regions.

5. Feng Yun 3A was declared operational on 12th January 2009.  My thanks
to
   Johnny Lin for drawing this to my attention.
   I am also grateful to Dave Wright of Dartcom for confirming that
   unfortunately (as usual) the Chinese have not strictly complied with
the
   CGMS AHRPT Global Standard so reception using a standard Metop AHRPT
   receiver is not possible.

6. It appears that Meteor M N1 is neither using full HRPT or AHRPT and
    cannot be received using current receivers.  Please see other WSR

NOTES.

1.  Meteosat 7 stopped its 0° service at 09.00 UTC on 14th June 2006.

2. Meteosat-6 arrived on station at 67.5 degrees East, on the 27 April
2007.
   After a short testing campaign, Meteosat-6 is now supporting the DCP
   mission over the Indian Ocean during eclipse periods.

3. Insat 3A is a combined data and meteorological satellite.

4. For those interested in EMWIN data, the following sats/frequencies
apply.

    GOES 7     (175 W)  1690.725 MHz.
    GOES 11   (135 W)  1690.725 MHz
    GOES 12   (74.5 W) 1690.725 MHz

5.  This satellite is also known as HIMAWARI 6.

6. HiRID and WEFAX was discontinued on 12th March 2008.  It was replaced
   with HRIT/LRIT (after many months of dual dissemination).

7. Only LRIT (1691.0 MHz) is provided in direct readout.
    Full HRIT and LRIT service from Eumetcast.

8. Feng Yun 2E is now moving slowly West from its commissioning location
   of approx 123° E.  Eumetsat have now confirmed that FY-2C data feeds
   will stop on the 24th November in preparation for FY-2E becoming the
   operational satellite.  More news to follow.

9. GOES-10, located at 60W longitude, currently provides meteorological
    imagery for South America users.  GOES-10 has reached its end-of-fuel
    life and requires decommissioning.  NOAA plans to decommission GOES-10
    on December 1, 2009.  GOES-10 will be boosted to a disposal orbit
    and all GOES-10 user services will end on December 1, 2009, at
    1230 UTC.
    Dedicated South America imaging will be interrupted at this time. 
NOAA
    has considered GOES-10 replacement options and has developed plans for
   resuming dedicated South America coverage prior to June 2010. During
   the interruption period, GOES-12/EAST will continue to provide South
   America coverage every half hour during routine scan operations.

Archive Servers Upgrade.
During this period, orders will not be processed and there will be a delay
in the update of the Archive catalogue.
User's of the EUMETSAT Archive may notice a slight delay in the delivery
of
their orders for a period of 2 weeks after the upgrade.
This is due to a re-organisation of the Archive data.

METEOSAT 8 (RSS).
17 November 2009 09:00 UTC - 17 December 2009 09:00 UTC.
Meteosat-8 Rapid Scanning Service will be interrupted for the annual one
month full earth scanning.
Full earth scanning data (if any) will not be disseminated.

IODC.
24 November 2009-02:28 UTC.
Meteosat-7 East-West Station Keeping Manoeuvre.
Users may observe degraded image quality for up to 6 hours after the
manoeuvre.

FSD.
Due to a MTSAT-1R problem, MTSAT-2 images have replaced MTSAT-1R images
since 16 November 2009 at O2:00 UTC.
The MTSAT-2 image navigation was corrected on 19 November 2009 at 01:00
UTC.
MTSAT-1R should be back in nominal mode after investigation by Japan
Meteorological Agency (JMA).

24 November 2009-08:00 UTC.
In preparation for the swap of the 105E service from FY-2C to FY-2E, CMA
will stop the FY-2C service at 08:00 on the 24 November 2009.
There will be an outage of the 105E service until FY-2E is operational. An
outage of 3 to 4 weeks for the validation of the FY-2E products is
anticipated before full service of FY-2E resumed.
Once resumed, the 105E service from FY-2E will have an identical set of
products matching those of FY-2C with a switch of satellite identifier
from
FY-2C to FY-2E.

EARS-ATOVS: Introduction of Edition 4 for the EARS-ATOVS L1c BUFR products
(EUMETCast and GTS).
In preparation for the implementation, we have prepared a set of test
files
available from our FTP site :
ftp://ftp.eumetsat.int/pub/EUM/out/OPS/User/EARS-ATOVS_BUFRed4_03-12-09/
The products themselves are not impacted by this change.
The new set of EARS-ATOVS data is based upon the latest ECMWF library
version (bufr_000380).

ASCAT Level 2 soil moisture product format change.
Several internal and external variable auxiliary data records (VIADR and
VEADRs) will be added, as well as a few fields corresponding to the Level
1b
section of the Measurement Data Record (MDR). The Level 2 soil moisture
