Does anyone remember these ?
I saved chore money for one in junior high.
Should have saved up more and got that 'real' scanner sooner but oh well.
Got me interested in aviation (ATIS WX, control towers and the like) nevertheless as I lived close to an airport.
Has anyone tried adding a bit of capacitance or otherwise changing the frequency into the ham band ?
Might make a receiver for some kind of QRP CW or 2m AM project ??
