I'm not sure if this helps, but I've been recently upgrading systems here.
These are my observations:

bpq408a has been running OK for many years, but occasionally crashes, which
may be due to a long-standing bug when it receives a NAK flag.

I recently tried bpq409c which was available on the Internet, but found that
its node list wouldn't update.

Then I found bpq409d (for DOS) in the files area of the bpq32 Yahoo Group
and it seems to be stable.

Has anyone else tried it?

Roger
