Hi Ian and all,
Yeah, the good part of getting up in years is when we make mistakes we have
senior moments. Kids just get a whack "upside the head". (;->) I don't know
about putting a zener in there to make a relaxation oscillator, these days I
don't have a parts cabinet full of Tinker Toys.
What offense? Not you surely, and I don't bother with that scanner site
anymore, too many numpties all trying to out tech each other. Ego, Yugo, no,
mego... bye bye. The only paper I hold is the one with my callsign printed on
it, but just because I can't do the maths doesn't say I'm stupid, and that's
the core of my not holding degrees and/or licenses and the core of THEIR
ignorance. They can't grasp the concept of "you don't know me" so hey buddy,
I don't need YOU. That ended that and I feel better since seperating men from
boys and leaving boys behind in the schoolyard to fight among themselves.
Oh hey, I speak American, remember? I barely understand your "class 1
license" and have no idea what you mean by "C&G 41". My guess is it's some
sort of certification that allows certain priveliges in broadcast engineering
and equipment repair? I'm thinking of the FCC radiotelegraph (obsolete) and
radiotelephone 1, 2, and 3 with endorsements like the P2 with Element 9
qualifies one for operating a broadcast transmitter, now everything except
the P3 (useless and deleted) grandfathered into the General Radio Operator
License (GROL). Eh, maybe you would translate British into American? (;->)
A prile of 7s? WTH? Yeah, I need a translator!
