I have been reading increased reports about generation of electricity
failures in many countries.
In many poorer countries this is caused because the generators cannot pay
their gas or oil bills.
In other countries load shedding is being caused by a shortage of generating
capacity. In many countries power engineers are warning that not enough money
is being invested in power plant in time to build adequate plant.
I have noticed in recent times that such warning are being aired in countries
such as the UK, Germany, Australia, USA and several others.
India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, South Africa are already in the load
shedding game.

In countries such as the USA they are in a double bind because they just
cannot reasonably switch between gas and oil as a long term policy.

So all in all taken with the policy of not using coal then it is beginning
to look like we are indeed heading for peak electricity.
With peak oil, gas, coal and uranium having peaks this century and
oil & gas being in the next five years and coal and uranium in the next 30 years
we do not have much time to think of something.
