for friend's handheld TRX:

Just check to have enough audio level to driver well mosfet
(adjust 2kOm R to other if need).
And possible if packet software out the sound only on one channel,
you need connect together L and R input points on schematics.
So first make it as "bug-style" prototype to check and adjust all.
BS170 can be to replaced by any modern 2N7000 or many other SMD
low gate-threshold N-mosfet.
