Subject: Making coils.

Whilst on the subject of making coils, I seem to remember a long time ago that the
best way to make a tuned circuit was:

*Use 1pf for every meter of wavelength desired, and add the required inductance to suit.*

Example for 20m, this would be 20pf plus 6uH.

I don't know the origin of this rule, but I did investigate it whilst building ATU's
and notch filters.

Indeed it seemed to produce a more constant Q and depth of notch when this rule
was followed (measured with a vector network analyser).

Consequently, I have adopted this rule for all my tuned circuits.
