Hi Brian and all,

Although I haven't used Audacity quite for that purpose I have used a few
more "professional" digital sound editors to analyze and help identify
types of transmissions by audio footprint. I never tried to identify a
particular transmitter that way but I've heard of it being done, a few
years ago there was a sound card and software made specifically for that
purpose. You have my curiosity piqued, I hope I remember when I finally
get some antennas up to wave form analyze a packet transmission with one
or more of my digital editing programs, thanks for the idea.
