Subj: WP routing tables errors

I have my system deliver a copy of each and every WP bulletin
to my mailbox so I can review them.

I have noticed quite a bit of erronious data coming through that
has really messed up my systems WP database tables and I'm wondering
how many other sysops know how bad their WP databases might be.

For example, my own callsign now shows an HROUTE to some other
system instead of my own system.

Another example is my WP database shows Jack, AA6HF as having
a routing HROUTE to "AA6HF@VA2CLM.#MTL.QC.CAN.NOAM" in
CANADA instead of his own station in southern California.

How in the #3LL are these WP entries getting this effed up?

I know that FBB's wp databases have always been pretty
rock solid in how they operate, so I don't suspect FBB stations
as the source.

Recently JNOS2.0x has started using White Pages and I'm not
sure if BPQ uses White Pages or not, but I believe so.

Is it possible that the JNOS and/or BPQ stations are either
not configured correctly or that the backend programming
has errors that are not the sysops fault, but lend to the
huge number of errors being generated?

It would be nice if my own system quit changing my own HROUTE
from my system to other system.

Here's an experiment.... My WP data should show my HROUTE as
KG6BAJ@KG6BAJ.#NCA.CA.USA.NOAM

I'd love to get a report from around the globe from as many
sysops as possible and have them tell me what their specific
system shows my HROUTE/WP Data is in their database.

I don't know the command from BPQ, but you JNOS sysops
running WP can issue "WP KG6BAJ" from your command line
and get a response as to what is in your database.

I'd love to see all the places my callsign alledgedly calls
home.

73,
