I would say if you run WinFBB then do not bother M_filter
does not seem to work.

I run WinFBB7.0I on a Win98se machine and M_filter is useless.

Yes I have M_filter.dll in the bin directory I have M_filter.wrd
in the fbb directory and when a message comes in is says its running
M_filter.dll but it seems to ignore the .WRD file that tells it
what to test for.

I have also put the DLL file into Windows\system and put the .wrd
file into fbb\bin and fbb\system, still does not work.

WinFBB is installed on D: not C: but that should not make any difference.

All of this used to work when I ran it under DosFBB.

So if anyone knows the trick to get M_filter to work under WinFBB
then I would like to know it.

Hello, Angela.

I can tell you how - at least - to HOLD old bulletins.
You do this by putting to use a small FBB utility by KE0WO called M_FILTER
which you probably still will be able to find on his website.
In the file M_FILTER.WRD you list all the R-LINES (and WORDS) contained in
bulletins you want to check before you pass them on.

Examples:
---------
no read
R:00
R:01
R:02
R:03
R:04
R:05
R:06
R:1*
R:2*
R:3*
