Interesting Dave:
I thought that I would be disbelieved which is why I have very rarely
mentioned that one talking,swimming cat. As I said, it was the only one out of
about a dozen free roaming farm cats which kept dow rats, mice and other
vermin.
The bit about the desert island is interesting and quite believable. I thought
it quite funny when, if anyone tried to bath a cat, it was a recipe for cuts
and scratches. I have had a few replies much to my surprise.
Thanks for the exam[ples and I agree with the bit about seals and the possible
evolution.
