Hi Ian and uncontrollable laughter,
Unfortunately "this bloke" being one of my countrymen is yet another reason
to be embarrassed of my country. He's a hypocrite to put it politely, gets
all upset because an Englishman happens to say just what his fellow Americans
are saying all around him and he's deaf to them.
From Northeast Indiana (which from this angle makes a good reflector) come
echoes of southern West Australia and all those shouts of you have no right
to criticize our politics because you don't live here. That was just a slice
of the larger you know nothing of Australia because you don't live here...

Funny how he emphasized "as the OWNER and SYSOP of this BBS" which translates

Oh heck, I just looked him up in the FCC database and the city he lives in
sounded SO familiar, I used to listen to 1190 AM at night before they went
all talk talk. Strangely it fits like a glove, now pronounce the callsign as
