Subject: VK2DOT down until June 18th
VK2DOT will not have AXUDP comms until the 18th of June. Telstra cannot fix
their DSLAM because of work overload. We have heard that Telstra Australia
since Privatising in Australia - Has become a mess & trying to con users back
to Telstra by cutting them off - when other ISP's are routing thro their
DSLAM's. We will be talking to ACCC about this shortly. At the present time
we have RF links thro VK2IO & VK2RQ - but are nor very reliable. So we are
stuck in limbo, with no email, no ADSL2+, etc.
As soon as we get Optical fiber to the house, the better we will be via the
NBN corp - However, the proposed new government - wants to scap the rolling
out of NBN for the old copper cables. They are living in the dark ages.
