Greetings to all
This may be old hat to some however today i was able to have my bbs
visible on APRS.
I was not sure how to go about it but with help from Gavin VK4ZZ
we were able to have the bbs and callsign visible.
I feel this maybe helpful to APRS users looking for a local bbs
or a club or event were information may need to be forwarded.
I use WinFBB version 700i and by editing the beacon.sys file
and include coordinates this works a treat.
Below is a copy of my beacon.sys file and you can see where
the extra line of info is placed.
All you need to do is edit the information to reflect your
own coordinates.
