Hi Steve & sysops,
I know we're wandering from sysop messages and it's been years since I
was one BUT something important bears saying. This recent spat brings
back memories of the worst blow to packet in my memory when 3 GB ops went
on the rampage and drove most users away. Now it begins again with
SYSOPS? Take no notice? Unfortunately for me it ATTRACTS notice, such
rude behavior has NO PLACE in Amateur Radio let alone packet!
As for Paula I have long recognized her contributions BUT one burst of
flames rather put a damper on my admiration, she's among the guilty.
Flames beget flames as violence begets violence, it takes two to Tango.
That's why this open message to all sysops, keep it cool and respect will
be yours. You are the reason packet exists so please don't ruin it,
please don't tear down what you've built. As you're reading this you know
sysops aren't the only ones who read this field, I for one learn from it
but the latest I've learned is shameful to the community as a whole.
