Fellow Sysops
I am an old new sysop and from the 90's have enjoyed packet radio very much.
I started a bbs in 1998 and from that point ran it until I was force to close it down in
2005.
Recent interest here in Australia gave me the oportunity to start again however i had
long since forgotten half of what i knew, and decided to enbark on trialing all the different
flavours of BBS software there was around.
With an enormous amount of help and support from Mike N9PMO I was able to finally settle back on
a slightly modified version of what I originally had. And all has run faultlessly since.
I am enjoying the hobby now as much as i used to and every morning read the current bulletins
just like one would read the morning news paper.
I have currently gained 3 users since officially bringing the bbs online end of October 2012
Our numbers may have shrunk however the spirit remains the same as i have noticed that no matter
how small the request for help is, there is always someone ready to go the extra yard to help
out a fellow sysop or user of the system.
I would like to take the oportunity to wish all a safe and enjoyable christmas and may santa
bring you and your loved ones that something special.
