Hi Ian and sysops,

That Packet User Group item struck a chord, around here most packet
BBS/nodes are operated by clubs along with their repeaters and club
stations. It's financed by club dues and get this, a minimum of 4 people
can call themselves a club. All very legal and anybody can start a club,
even the independent sysop of the southernmost BBS/node in NJ who also
happens to be a member of JSARS which operates a 2M repeater in Toms
River and a 70cM repeater and BBS/node at Lakehurst. Oh, I'd still call
it "home" if I had a proper antenna, oh well.

Bottom line here is a club is a bit more than a PUG but in the end saves
a sysop those out of pocket expenses, a small one can at least defray
them. Hey Tony, are you getting this?
