Hello all .... Maria just transferred this email from Bill G0MFW
for posting on the Packet Network for help with GB7NND BBS.
So here is the email text....
................................................................
Hi Peter and Maria. I wonder if you could do me a favour and put
out a message on packet that GB7NND is 'off air' and has been
since Sunday 26 June when it suddenly stopped as I was using it.
I got the following from the sysop this morning, Saturday 9 July;
>
> Hi Bill,
> I've restarted everything a couple of times, the computer is
> running OK and 'thinks' the BBS is on air, everything appears
> to be working as it should...
> It must be a problem with either the TNC or radio, but it's
> going to be a few days yet before I get chance to pull everything
> apart and find the exact cause of the problem.
> If you can pass my apologies on to others, I'd appreciate it.
> I will let you know as soon as I find the fault.
> Regards,
> Tony.
This is the only way I can think of to let everyone know of the
breakdown as you are the only link I now have to the GBR packet
network. Tony G8TBF, the sysop, does work away from home quite
a lot. I can't contact Dave G6TVA, the sysop of GB7SYP, as
I don't have his email address and I'm sure he will be wondering
what is the matter with GB7NND.
Thanks a lot for anything you can do to help.
Bill. G0MFW

Anyone in UK that can pass it along.....please?
