Hello all,

LinFBB 7.0.15 has been available on SourceForge since
November 4. It fixes a bug of 64-bit machines (x86_64,
aarch64): a held message (HOLD) lost the first 7 characters
of its text when it was released. 32-bit machines were not
affected.

The update script updfbb.sh on f6bvp.org has been rewritten:
- it asks SourceForge for the newest release (7.0.15 today)
  instead of always installing 7.0.11;
- it installs the ncurses package of recent distributions;
- it stops cleanly when the download fails;
- it no longer changes the permissions of every program in
  /usr/local/sbin and /usr/local/bin.

To update, in /usr/local/src/ax25:
   wget http://f6bvp.org/updfbb.sh
   chmod +x updfbb.sh
   sudo ./updfbb.sh
The script stops the BBS, installs the new release and
restarts it. To check only (download and compile, without
stopping or installing anything): sudo ./updfbb --essai

Same idea for FPAC: updfpac.sh (stable) and updfpac-rc.sh
(release candidates) now install the newest tag published on
GitHub whose signed package is on f6bvp.org (4.1.5 and
4.1.6-rc12 today, 4.2 as soon as it is published). They refuse
to go back to an older version than the installed one, unless
the --force option is given.
